Felling

We can clear any sized site of trees and vegetation and remove all the timber.  Site clearance for all reasons - perhaps a building site cleared for development; a utility service such as overhead cables; even a new road or private driveway.

From small trees to large trees we have the expertise to remove any tree in any position.  Regardless of acreage AC Landscape provide a professional service with full insurance for peace of mind.

Dismantling

So often trees in dangerous or difficult positions need felling. AC Landscape experienced staff take apart the tree by roping and lowering the tree in parts. This sectional felling avoids damaging close buildings, nearby properties, garden lawns or other trees and sensitive areas.

This dismantling may also necessitate tree stump removal which is all part of
our service.

Dead wooding

Tree care identifies dead or dying branches. Over the years trees become dangerous and need removal before damage to buildings, or personal injury occurs.  The removal of dead wood improves the health and aesthetics of the tree. Reducing the weight and length of larger dead branches, will save the limb that provides a habitat for birds or insects.

The removal of lower branches or general thinning of the crown produces an even foliage growth.

Pruning and shaping

Pruning a tree preserves its appearance and ensures a healthy stem and branch network. Correct formative pruning can reduce the chances of disease, structural weakness and branch failure. The treatment forms a well-balanced and healthy crown.  Altering the shape of the crown can lessen the weight, if too large, and shrink shading. 

Bracing

Through age and growth, limbs can become weak. Using our experience we install braces which support the limb while allowing it to continue its growth. This can extend the life of the tree, improve safety, and can avoid felling.

Stump grinding

Following the tree felling, our compact tree stump grinder will remove all trace of the tree.  This avoids damage caused by using a digger. Unless specifically requested otherwise, we remove all the resulting wood chips. The result is a clean area with no after growth possibility.

Hedges

We can trim, reduce, prune or completely remove your hedges to your specification.  Remember that since 2005 it is a landowner’s responsibility to maintain a hedge without annoyance to a neighbour. 

Consultancy

The company consultant is Simon Phillips (Tech Cert Arbour A) who provides a number of services including surveys, reports, TPO (Tree Preservation Order) appeals, safety inspections and mortgage records.
